SCP Gives Back – Knoxville Photographer

Hannah was nominated for a SCP Gives Back Session back in November by one of her mother’s co-workers.  Here’s an excerpt from the nomination letter:

“Her name is Hannah Lawson, and she is a cancer survivor.  On February 12th, 2008, the family dog Frenchy woke up Hannah by pawing at her pillow. The dog knew something was wrong with her seven-year-old pal. When Hannah’s mother (Tracey Lawson) found her, she was disoriented, dazed and doubled over.   She was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a stage 3 malignant brain tumor.  Hannah took this devastating news and turned it into a platform to help soldiers called Hannah’s Angels.  She and her parents are really good people with great hearts (don’t find that so much anymore), willing to take the time and energy to help others.  Below is a link to the WBIR story on her, one of many as they have followed her journey.   I think she would be a wonderful surprise for her to be chosen for your session.  When  you see the light in her eyes, and the smile on her face, you will know it was a good choice.”

It was my pleasure to do this session for Hannah.  Enjoy!
