Becky (the mastermind behind Polkadaisies) and I had quite a bit of “stuff” planned for our shoot.  We are both perfectionists and over-achievers so we work well together and are always pushing to be better and better.  In fact, we planned so many wonderful things, I felt sort of crazy by the time we started the shoot.  lol  It always goes fast- organized chaos, if you will.  (I wouldn’t have it any other way!)

Right when I was beginning to shoot at our first set, Miss Laila ran up and was SO excited to see me.  I admit, it made me feel so special, and it reminded me of how I love forming relationships with all these cute kiddos I get to photograph. (one of my favorite things about being a photographer)  I have been photographing her since she was six months old.  Since then, she has become a big sister and such a smart and adorable big girl!  I’m so glad she was able to be a part of our shoot.  Her mother brought her from Knoxville, TN.
