Boone’s 9 Month Session – Knoxville Baby Photographer
Posted on March 10, 2010
I photographed Boone a couple weeks ago for his 9 month session. I can’t believe how he has grown- the time has just went by so quickly. He is such a pleasant little guy. Enjoy his sneak peek.

Making Room for Max
Posted on March 8, 2010
Boy, where do I start? Things have been really crazy around here.
I have not been blogging as often, but not because I’ve not been busy. I’ve had a couple of big projects over the last month that I haven’t blogged about. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph lots of great kiddos and have had a lot of fun doing it, too. I’ve spent a lot of time on designing wedding albums for our 2009 weddings. I’m a bit behind on editing, but plan to make some progress this week. We have hired a babysitter to come a few hours 3 days a week. The kids love her and it is really helping me to stay sane and get some stuff accomplished!
And, the obvious reason we’ve been so busy… is that it is almost time for #3 to be making his big debut. I’m 34 weeks! I had both girls at 38 weeks so it could be fairly soon that we’ll be meeting little Max. I’ll be 38 weeks on Easter Sunday (which is also my mom’s b-day this year) so it will be interesting to see what happens. I had my 4D ultrasound done about a month ago and his pictures look REALLY close to what Emmy’s 4D ultrasound pictures looked like. Reagan is excited. I don’t think Emmy understands what is going to be happening. I am excited… a little anxious, scared, etc., etc…
We have moved Reagan out of her room and into a room with Emmy (bunk beds are fun for kids and scary for parents!). I have been trying to fix Reagan’s old room into a nursery for Max. I’m decorating it in a guitar/drums theme. Not really rock star, but I guess just a music theme. If you know me well, you know that music is a big part of my life and family. I guess I’m hoping Max will be a great musician and singer. =)
Here are some pictures of the girls in their rooms before we started making changes. Enjoy!
OH- I almost forgot! They are sporting their cute, cute Polkadaisies clothes!!
Here’s pinky (the male beta fish!) and our frog (no name- just frog). We’ve had them both over a year. This is their first debut on the SCP blog. =)
Here’s the sweet baby bed that gets passed down each time. I don’t think either child has ever slept one night in this crib. haha

Justin’s Senior Session – CCHS Senior Portraits
Posted on March 8, 2010
I photographed Justin a couple weeks ago. He’s a senior at CCHS. We had a good time together and it was actually a pretty nice day for his session. He brought a friend along to help make the session seem less painful… haha Most senior boys that I photograph just aren’t as pumped up about their session as the senior girls I photograph… =) That’s okay, though. He got to leave school a little early so maybe it was worth it!
Enjoy his pictures. He’s a handsome guy!

Leslie’s Bridal Session – East Tennessee Wedding Photographer
Posted on March 8, 2010
I shot Leslie’s Bridal session back in December. I’m not sure what it is about the days that I’m supposed to photograph Leslie, but I know that they are always freezing, wet, and snowy. haha Maybe we will have better luck this spring. I forgot to share some of these after the wedding pictures, but thought today might be a good day to post. Happy Monday!

Baby Tucker – East Tennessee Newborn Photographer
Posted on February 12, 2010
I have been really lucky to photograph some super sweet babies over the past few weeks. Tucker was WONDERFUL! There is no other way to say it! I just loved every moment of his session. He is a beautiful little guy. What hair he has! He was born 5 weeks early so he was still very little at 2 weeks. I love this first shot so much!

Casting Call – Voting Information
Posted on February 9, 2010
Let me first say, we love what we do at SCP and Polkadaisies. We take pride in our work and it is something that is very important to us. We first decided to announce our Casting Call Contest as a way to give others the opportunity to be included in our photo shoot experience. We have so enjoyed working together in past shoots and thought it would be wonderful to let some new people enjoy the experience, as well.
Since early this morning, we have been aware of some glitches and unusual activity in our voting system. We have been working closely with our Poll Administrator throughout the day trying to resolve these issues. To establish fairness, from this point forward, people will only be able to vote once from an IP address. The votes that have been previously cast up to this point have been filtered so that each unique vote only counts one time.
Please be assured that we are commited to making this a fair and reputable contest. With the filtering system we have in place, everyone still very much has an equal opportunity to be a part of our shoot. We are sorry for any inconveniece this may have caused. We hope that you will continue to encourage others to vote! Thank you for your participation and support.
